What is a reborn doll?
A reborn is a lifelike doll an artist creates from a blank vinyl or silicone kit. Painting, weighting, assembly and hair work give the finished doll its realistic appearance and feel. Reborn dolls do not move, talk or grow; any posing is done gently by hand.
How do I choose one?
Collectors enjoy Reborn dolls for their artistry, dressing, photography and companionship. Holding and caring for them is comforting. Start with the face you feel drawn to, then consider the size, body type and hair you prefer. Whether you are a first-time buyer or an experienced collector, you are welcome here.
Do you use genuine doll kits?
Yes. I use authentic kits from established sculptors and manufacturers, supporting the original artists rather than copied or counterfeit sculpts. A kit usually contains a head and limbs, with other parts depending on the design. Emma transforms it into a finished reborn through painting, rooting, weighting and
assembly.
Are they suitable for children?
These dolls are delicate collectables and are not suitable for children under 3. Small
accessories and magnetic dummies can present hazards. Before buying for an
older child, check the individual doll’s age guidance and suitability with Emma. Adult supervision and gentle handling are important.
Will my dolllook exactly like the photographs?
Each doll is individually handcrafted. Your doll will closely reflect the photographs for
your chosen options, with subtle variations in painting and hair rooting that make each one individual.
